MASSCANN MEDIA: DOCUMENTING ‘THE ROAD TO LEGALIZATION’
We are in the final 2 years toward legalization in 2016!
This year is a milestone for MASSCANN/NORML celebrating the 25th Anniversary Boston Freedom Rally.
25 years of relentless cannabis activism and advocacy has brought us here, on the brink of legalization!
It is our responsibility to encourage our great population of cannabis users, especially patients, to come together as a community, join the fight for freedom, speak up, act out, and practice civil disobedience. Most importantly to get out and vote!
Despite the frustrations and distrust in our political and government forces, we as a people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts have proved our ability to turn out in great numbers in order to fully decriminalize, and implement medical cannabis care within a 4 year span!
We are just a few steps away from fully legalizing and reforming the marijuana laws in Massachusetts, throughout the rest of the country, and the world!
We have the numbers!
We must work together, stand up and be counted! Vote to legalize cannabis consumption and hemp cultivation!
In regards to media, this year kicks off a 2 year full media coverage plan to attract national attention to educate and motivate the masses in order to legalize Massachusetts, and the country.
If we draw the right attention and media coverage, we will open ourselves up to receive support, networking, sponsorships, and thus more opportunities for funding to grow our rally ready for the legalization party in September 2016!
We are looking for photographers, videographers, post production teams, news & publications, social media gurus, post production and anything we can get as far as volunteering.
