The Northeastern Institute of Cannabis hosts a march and rally on the DPH and the State House to protest the lack of action for medical marijuana patients.

SUPPORT COMPASSIONATE CARE: Join us for a march and rally on the DPH and the State House to protest the lack of action for medical marijuana patients.

Nearly two years after citizens overwhelmingly voted to allow patients access to medical cannabis the State has failed to implement a safe and convenient program. Patients are still forced to access dangerous black markets for medicine. This is unacceptable and we will no longer stand for it.  Join us as we partner together with patients, and other supporters of compassionate care: Visit the Event Page

On Tuesday, October 14, 2014, several medical marijuana patients, caregivers, friends and activists joined together to put on the Direct Action Protest and Rally and the MA Department of Public Health.

There, a Press Conference was held where patients and advocates gave their testimonies speaking out against the #unacceptable politics surrounding the issue.  The event continued with a Solidarity March through downtown Boston to the MA State House.

Patients and supporters of cannabis freedom came together and demanded their voices be heard. It is unacceptable for the state to continue to disregard patient need and to force patients to suffer because of politics and incompetence.
