“Five Facts” about the War on Drugs

A new website, GatewayEffect.org, is dedicated to promoting “Five Facts” about the War on Drugs that might change people’s minds:
Marijuana is less addictive than coffee.
Marijuana is a useful medicine for both body and mind.
Marijuana, unlike alcohol, doesn’t lead to violence.
Legal marijuana would cut government spending and increase revenue.
Marijuana prohibition funds violence, creates an unsupervised market for teenagers, and ruins countless young people’s lives by branding them as criminals for the crime of marijuana possession.
The site is still under construction, but the home page is now viewable at http://www.gatewayeffect.org.
