A proposed law authorizing medical marijuana has been certified for the November ballot in Massachusetts.

Question 1 is a so-called Right to Repair law intended to give consumers more options about how their cars are repaired; Question 2 is a Death with Dignity law allowing assisted suicide.

Passing Question 3 will allow for both the setting up of dispensaries and the private growing of plants for patients. At the same time, the law provides stiff penalties for anyone obtaining marijuana under fraudulent pretenses for recreational purposes. In short, being sick will no longer be a crime, though being healthy and feeling a little too good will still be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
