Stoned dogs of Colorado

Time magazine reports that since the onset of medical marijuana in Colorado, veterinarians are noticing a sharp increase in the number of dogs ingesting marijuana, either because they got into their owner’s stash on their own or because the owner fed pot to the dog:

The veterinarians cited in the article recommend keeping marijuana away from your dog. Our further recommendation: if your dog does get high, don’t allow it to drive or operate heavy machinery until the effects of the drug can be determined.
