Compassion Finds a Voice in the Boston Herald

Despite the Boston Herald’s official disavowal of Question 3, columnist Margery Eagan, writing in the Oct. 25th issue, came out in favor of medical marijuana, getting to the heart of the reason why Question 3 should pass and why it is likely to pass:  “Simply put, ballot Question 3 legalizing medical marijuana should pass because almost everybody today … knows someone whose suffering might have been alleviated.” Eagan is not convinced that the youth of tomorrow will be ruined for life: “Almost everybody knows former potheads who grew up to be upstanding citizens — even prosecutors.” Read the rest of Eagan’s column here:
