MASS CANN/NORML will hold
Fall Members’ Meeting
and November Board of Directors’ Meeting

Sunday, November 26, 2017 1-4pm

Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant, 725 Cochituate Road Framingham MA 01701
Dear Member,

Please join us for our annual Fall Members’ Meeting! As we come to the close of our first year of legal cannabis in the Commonwealth, there are many new and exciting developments!

Our new Cannabis Control Commission has just completed a month of ‘listening sessions’ around the state (and boy did they get an earful!). People are excited about the commercial potential of the new industry that will blossom next spring. And people are worried about the spate of cities that have declared moratoriums on the new industry.

Join us and help us chart the course for the coming year. How can we change the tide on the local front and encourage towns to zone for cannabis establishments and educate them about the income they stand to gain by embracing the industry that will be responsibly regulated and will be a boon to their local economies (new jobs, new impact fees, new taxes, new business for their local stores and service providers)?

Where should Mass Cann/NORML focus its efforts in 2018? Your voice is crucial to our efforts.

See you in Framingham! Margarita’s is convenient to Route 9 at Speen Street and the Pike (exit 13). Their food is wonderful (we will not be catering this meeting) and inexpensive and they have been welcoming Mass Cann/NORML for years. Parking at Marguerites’ is very crowded, so park in the HomeDepot lot, facing the back of the restaurant, by the trees. Smoking is usually done up at the back of the lot on the Home Depot side of the trees (thank you!).

The meeting will be followed by a meeting of the Board of Directors. This WILL be the November Board of Director’s Meeting and we will return to Regina’s in Allston, at our regularly scheduled time, in December (December 27th, 6:30pm).

This meeting, as with all Mass Cann/NORML meetings, is open to the public and all are welcome. Please join us there.

We will be voting and only those whose memberships have not expired are allowed to vote. You can join or renew your membership at the meeting ($25/yr.).
