MASS CANN/NORML will be holding its Annual Summer Members’ Meeting on Sunday,
September 9 from 1pm until 5pm at Margarita’s Framingham. MASS CANN/NORML will
provide appetizers. As with all MASS CANN/NORML meetings, this meeting is open to the
public and all are welcome. We will be voting on agenda items, so please keep in mind that in
order to vote, you must be a current member. Your membership expiration is on the
envelope’s label.
CALL FOR RALLY VOLUNTEERS: We will be planning for the Freedom Rally, which is
scheduled for Friday, September 14, Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16 on
Boston Common. We will need volunteers for all three days. We are hoping those who will be
helping at the rally, can attend this meeting and help us plan.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM THE MASS PIKE: Travel to Mass Pike exit 13 to Rt. 30
East. Just past the intersection of Rt. 30 (Cochituate Rd.) and Speen St. take a right to the
Home Depot parking lot. Park to the right as you enter the lot, near the corner of the
Margarita’s parking lot. Look for the cloud of smoke and listen for the laughter.
We will be electing a new Treasurer and Clerk. If you are a Member and would be interested
in running for Treasurer or Clerk, all you need is another Member to nominate you during
the part of the meeting where we open nominations.
